How to Support Kids Who Have Experienced Scary Things

How to Support Kids Who Have Experienced Scary Things

Monday 9 September 2019, 10:00am—11:30am

The focus of this talk will be on how to support kids who have experienced scary events. To know what is ‘normal’ and when is it time to get help. Given START’s work in the area of sexual abuse, some of our examples will relate to this topic. However as Cantabrians we are well aware of what else has happened in our region and so the conversation will also include more general information around supporting children through trauma.
