In this world premiere, film maker and communications technician Anthony Powell portrays a year in the lives of the workers who exist in extreme conditions to support and maintain communications for essential research. In footage gathered over 10 years, he offers a never before seen view of the frozen continent, from the workers perspective, including a wedding on ice.
The premiere will be introduced by Anthony Powell whose films are in collections including Te Papa, New York Natural History Museum, National Geographic and Discovery channels, and most recently in the BBC Frozen Planet series.
Doors open at 7pm
Event starts at 7.30pm
$10 + $1 booking fee (incl 2 for 1 ticket for drinks at the Ice Bar)
