Aural Trash - Winter Tour 2010

Hold onto your hot water bottles, New Zealand’s dynamic duo of dark, dirty house, breaks and electro is on the road once again this winter.

Aural Trash – aka DJs Greg Churchill and Angela Fisken - are set to cause dancefloor tremors in a city or town near you with their signature brand of ass shakin’, block rockin’ roof raising Aural Trash tunage.

Throughout the months of July , August, & September, the terrible twosome travel from North to the deep South and everywhere in between for a blistering series of gigs set to warm crowds right out of their winter blues.

2010 has started with an almighty bang seeing Greg & Angela remixing New Zealand’s iconic rock legends Th’Dudes, alongside Tokyo Street Gang, Frenchman Kid Komas, Minuit, and collaborating with the hugely in-demand Angger Dimas. They’ve also found time to kick start their very own record label “Move To Trash Recordings”.

Mr Churchill has long been regarded the elder statesman of the New Zealand dance music scene, with a DJing career stretching now back over 20 years and on no fewer than 7 occasions has been awarded New Zealand DJ of the year, including two prestigious B Nets. Aside from spinning tunes, many of his original productions have caught the ears of record labels worldwide, with releases on the Internationally acclaimed Underwater Records, Gung Ho Recordings & Germany’s Great Stuff Recordings as well as a compilation - ‘It’s Only A Mixtape!’ – released worldwide on iconic British dance music label Ministry of Sound. His most recent release “Clown Punch” made both the UK Cool Cuts & Hype Charts earlier this year.

Miss Fisken holds up her side of the turntables with a dance floor driven assault of Dirty House, Breaks, Electro-Tech and synth madness. Not only is she one of the hottest names in the dance scene she is also one of the first N.Z. female DJ to receive an international record deal being signed to Italian Label Cosmonote Blue in 2007.
