Union Events over the last two years have been pioneering with its events, focusing on a perfect balance of innovative experiences and musical intergrity.

The Biggest underground Electronic musical event to hit New Zealand this year is finally here, STOMP! October 1st.

Since its humble beginnings in 2007 as an underground mix CD that was distributed around East Auckland by a young up an coming Dj named Danny G, STOMP! has been the face of the underground music scene since.

As time went on STOMP! grew into a small club sized event in New Market Auckland, time trickled away and the infamous Union Events partnership was born, headed up by Danny G & Joe.B the brand grew exponentially to May 2010 this year when STOMP! sold out Studio in Auckland.

After this incredibly exciting journey and all the good times had by all involved stretched over the last three years, Union Events decided it was time to bring an event to New Zealand that was almost unbelievable. The type of experience that would not be forgotten, a line up that would normally only be seen in foreign countries, and here it is.

With five of the largest international underground electronic acts in the world and thirteen of New Zealand's most talented specialists in their field, the sheer magnitude of this event speaks for itself.

This amazing musical line up would be nothing without an amazing venue to house it.

So, for the first time ever in its history a dance event is being held in pavilion 3 & 4 of the ASB showgrounds. This amazing space has never seen a dance event before. Just to give you an idea of the experience you are in for click the link below.

Along with a unbelievable musical line up, a venue that has never been used for an event like this and three stages expect nothing but the best in sound, lighting and visual display on the night.

This is an experience that will go down in the history books of New Zealand dance events.

STOMP! Bringing up the underground since ages ago.

Hailing from deep in the Midlands, Flux Pavilion has emerged. Hitting the scene in early 2009, he secured himself a solid stance in the dubstep world. His blend of hard smashing rhythms and manic basslines have certainly gained him an audience. Also as a musician he has incorporated his singing and instrumental talent into his tracks. Well known for his high energy sets, he is being booked home and abroad for his unique take on the dubstep sound. With exclusive plays from the likes of Rusko, Caspa, Ntype, Hatcha, Plastician and all the big names his tunes have been blasted all over the world. After performances alongside Ntype on Rinse and Hatcha on Kiss Fm, Flux Pavilion is certainly making waves in the dubstep scene and everywhere else. With big plans for Circus Records (his Label with Doctor P and Swan-e) there is no doubt that flux will continue rise to stardom doing the thing he knows best; smashing dancefloors from here to the moon.

Straddling a bass heavy club sound that also encompasses leftfield rock music and global beats, Sinden is renowned for his genre-blending DJ sets, cracklin’ hot radio show, his banging remixes, and for being the Sinden in hotly tipped ‘The Count & Sinden’ and, alongside Herve.

His DJ career sees him criss-crossing the globe turning clubs on their heads with his fresh, eclectic sound, and throwing Count & Sinden’s Mega Warehouse parties in the UK. He had recently begun a column in the UK’s DJ magazine, and he’s also known for his lauded show groundbreaking UK radio station Kiss FM.

Having the radio show and the column keeps Sinden one step ahead of the game when it comes to finding new music, and he brings this taste-making approach to his productions. Sinden began making his own music around the time he forged a friendship with Dave "Switch" Taylor and was taken under his wing to learn the production game. Together they began to create progressive hip-hop, dancehall beats and other unclassifiable rhythms. Testing the water with his remixes of other artists has led to an impressive, diverse reel which includes mixes of Miike Snow, Jack Splash, Robbie Williams, Basement Jaxx, Bjork, Mujava, Armand van Helden and Mark Ronson, to name a few.

His production technique has further evolved in his collaboration with Joshua Harvey, aka The Count (aka Herve), on their project The Count & Sinden. Their single ‘Beeper’ was a crossover club smash which built on the success of early release ‘Tambourzouda’. Subsequent singles Hardcore Girls and Mega have been topped charts and been supported by a who’s who of top international DJs and producers. The Count and Sinden album is due out mid 2010 and features exciting vocals from a number of exciting guests.

Sinden has also announced the launch of his own label, Grizzly, which will feature more of the amazing sounds we’ve come to expect from him. First releases in Spring 2010 include a collaboration with SBTRKT, a new EP from Brodinski, and a WAFA, a solo project from the drummer in Basement Jaxx. Stay tuned!
