Learn about colouring and shading with watercolour pencils. We'll work on creating your own cartoon characters and will make some hand-made cards that are yours to keep.

Caregivers are encouraged to join in on the class as colouring and drawing is a great pastime to share together!

Pay It Forward designer, Sarah Greig, will teach participants about colouring with watercolour pencils and how to add shading to their drawings. They will work on creating their own cartoon characters and will make some hand-made cards that are theirs to keep. Caregivers are encouraged to join in.

All materials are provided; caregivers required.

Sarah has recently produced her own children's colouring book featuring New Zealand native birds in funny (and informative) situations. She has been teaching adults colouring classes and is passionate about getting people to pick up their pens and pencils and start creating.

Pay It Forward is a designer cooperative store and community space set up by the Neighbourhood Trust at 49 Nancy Ave, Mairehau, Christchurch. Over 50 local designers work together to sell their handmade goods and provide events for the community.
