Evening moves us towards sleep and contemplation of the end of our days; the depths of night can be a time of emotional turmoil, bright dreams and dark despair; morning brings the bright sun, brimming with promise, new life and new love.

Acclaimed soprano Jenny Wollerman explores the emotional spaces between darkness and light through a series of songs by
master composers of the nineteenth century right up to the present day.

Jenny performs with
New Zealand's leading pianist Michael Houstoun, and the show's stunning lighting and set are designed by Tony Rabbit.

"an exquisite theatrical recital, beautifully and expressively rendered with both power and restraint by performers at the top of their game." – Otago Daily Times
