AN HOUR WITH DAME FIONA KIDMAN

AN HOUR WITH DAME FIONA KIDMAN

Friday 26 August 2016, 9:30am—10:30am

Novelist, short story writer, poet, memoirist, Fiona Kidman has been one of our most significant literary voices since her first novel, A Breed of Women, caused a sensation in late-1970s NZ. This year she has released two new works: the poetry collection, This Change in the Light, and the wry and politically astute novel, All Day at the Movies, which begins in 1952 with Irene Sandler and follows the lives of her children, and also NZ itself, as the country changes through the decades.
