More than 50 events take place during the 2013 Christchurch Arts Festival from 22 August to 22 September, spanning five exciting weekends packed with plenty to see and do.

Kick up your heels, move to the music, enjoy quality theatre and sublime classical music; be astonished by circus and cabaret performers and be inspired by ideas from New Zealand writers and thought-leaders – it’s all here in a burst of energy and vitality to amuse, enliven and invigorate.

Featuring the best of Christchurch and New Zealand performance, alongside shows and performers from England, Scotland, Germany, Ireland, Canada, the United States, China and Australia.
