Mobb Deep is an American hip hop duo from Queensbridge, Queens, New York that consists of Havoc and Prodigy. The group has released eight studio albums to date with the most recent one titled “The Infamous Mobb Deep”. They are recognized for their dark hardcore style rapping about gangster life in America’s ghettos which was exemplified by this song Shook Ones Pt II . It caught wide attention due to its lyrics like “I got you stuck off the realness” and it became so popular at clubs playing over beats making people want more music along similar lines. This brought them great success as they could reach audiences all across North America because everyone enjoyed hearing stories on how violence permeates every aspect.
